We planted a few six-packs of Romaine Lettuce on October 2nd, 2012. Cheers to winter gardens. Here is a student “tickling the roots” in preparation for planting.
Here is another patting down the soil around the new sprouts.
We are still harvesting carrots mid October. The carrot patch proved to be one of the most successful vegetables grown this summer in the beds. We grew these carrots from seed!
